- Astaghfirullah 3 times (Sahih Muslim 591)
- Allahumma antas-salam, wa minkas-salam, tabarkata dhal jalali wal-ikram (Jami at-Tirmidhi 298)
- Allahumma inni ala zikrikika, wa thankful, wa husni ibadatika (Riyad as-Salihin 1422)
- La ilaha illa lahu wahdahu la shareek lahu, lahu l-mulk wa lahui-hamd, wa huwa ‘ala kulli sha-in kadir

Salam Ke Baad Ki Dua in English – Verses after saying Salam
- Surah al-Ikhlas (Qul hu-wallaahu ahad) – should be read three times.
- Surah al-Falaq and Surah al-Naas – should be read once. By reading this, we get Allah’s protection.
